Artists entered them individually, and their work was judged by a neutral committee o f recognized experts, which also made the decisions concerning government prizes. They were directed by the directors o f the 59 mmm~ m ' Exhibition o f Works o f An put in publicOwnership, W9 Mucsarnok, Elek Petrovics and later Denes Csdnky.
